Da Nang releases more than 109,000 juvenile fish and shrimp into the environment
Accordingly, more than 109,000 juvenile fish and shrimp of various species, including red tilapia, grass carp, catfish, climbing perch, rabbitfish, pompano, goby fish, and black tiger shrimp, were released into the natural environment at Dong Nghe Lake (Hoa Tien Commune) and along the Cam Le River (near the foot of Hoa Xuan Bridge, Hoa Cuong Ward) to help restore aquatic populations, improve water quality, and maintain ecological balance.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City and Chairman of the Da Nang Peace Committee, Le Tri Thanh, emphasized that the fish release activity not only has practical significance for biodiversity conservation but also spreads the message of shared responsibility in protecting natural resources, raising awareness about biodiversity and its value for the city’s sustainable development.
The Chairman of the City Peace Committee called on authorities at all levels, organizations, businesses, religious groups, youth union members, young people, and all citizens to actively respond to the movement “All people joining hands to protect the environment – for a green, clean, and beautiful Da Nang” through practical and meaningful actions.
