VietShrimp 2025: Greening Aquaculture Regions, Together for a Sustainable Vietnamese Shrimp Industry
Session 1: Greening the Vietnamese Shrimp Industry
With the aim of moving towards a sustainable shrimp industry, the opening session, chaired by the Directorate of Fisheries, will provide a comprehensive overview of Vietnam's shrimp industry in the turbulent year of 2024 and highlight growth opportunities for 2025.

Session 2: Emission Reduction in Shrimp Farming
Amid climate change challenges, reducing emissions in shrimp farming has become a pressing need. Innovative and modern farming models and initiatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution will be introduced by organizations and businesses to farmers. Understanding and adopting these initiatives will not only mitigate environmental impacts but also enhance production efficiency and profitability for shrimp farmers.
Session 3: Developing the Shrimp Supply Chain
The shrimp supply chain is a key factor in ensuring the quality of products, from shrimp seed and feed to microorganisms and processed goods. This session will focus on improving various aspects of the supply chain, including seed production, feed supply, and shrimp health solutions, to enhance quality and reduce costs across the industry.
Session 4: Increasing Technology, Reducing Costs in Shrimp Farming
Aiming to optimize production processes and reduce costs, this session will showcase modern technologies applied in shrimp farming. Automation solutions, data applications, and digital technologies will be presented to help farmers better manage pond environments, improve productivity, and reduce dependency on manual labor.
The workshops at VietShrimp 2025 promise to create a dynamic forum for scientists, businesses, shrimp farmers, and state management agencies to share experiences, knowledge, and breakthrough solutions for a greener and more sustainable Vietnamese shrimp industry.

With the theme “Greening Aquaculture Regions,” VIETSHRIMP 2025 will take place from March 26–28, 2025, at the Can Tho Promotion and Exhibition Center (108A Le Loi, Cai Khe Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City). Don’t miss the chance to attend VietShrimp 2025. This is not just a trade event but also an academic platform where businesses and shrimp farmers can learn from local and international experts, access advanced trends and technologies, and enhance competitiveness for the sustainable development of Vietnam’s shrimp industry.
