The application of Nanobubble technology in aquaculture in 2023
Currently, the use of Nanobubble in aquaculture aims to increase the level of dissolved oxygen, reduce disease incidence, and improve water quality:
1. Impact on the water quality of shrimp and fish farming
Results have shown that Nanobubble diffusers have significantly improved the water quality of shrimp and fish ponds. Compared to conventional paddlewheel aerators, Nanobubble nozzles can more effectively control salinity and water temperature, while increasing the level of dissolved oxygen, water hardness, pH, alkalinity, etc., providing a suitable environment for the growth of aquatic animals on a large scale. Furthermore, it improves oxidation efficiency and reduces energy costs, marking a significant breakthrough.

2. Impact on the gut microbiota structure and function of farmed animals
Experiments have shown that, compared to conventional turbo aerators, Nanobubble nozzles can indirectly affect the gut bacteria of shrimp and fish by improving water quality conditions. Additionally, Nanobubble air diffusers can efficiently adjust the gut bacterial community by increasing the levels of beneficial bacteria and reducing harmful bacteria, thereby enhancing the structure and immune function of the gut microbiota in fish and shrimp.

3. Impact on the structure and function of aquatic microbiota in aquaculture water
In this experiment, high-throughput sequencing and analysis of the diversity of aquatic microorganisms in shrimp and fish ponds using conventional aerators and Nanobubble nozzles were conducted. The results showed that, with the same capacity, Nanobubble nozzles improved the diversity of bacteria in the water. This indicates that Nanobubble nozzles have altered the community structure of microorganisms and the relative richness of the microbiota in the ponds.

4. Impact on the structure and function of sediment microbiota during cultivation
The diversity and community structure of sediment microorganisms in ponds can reflect the basic state of the aquaculture ecosystem to some extent. Maintaining the diversity of the microorganism community in the sediment layer of aquaculture ponds and the diversity of ecological processes they promote is the basis for the existence of aquaculture production. The Shannon index and Simpson index showed that Nanobubble treatment is beneficial for improving the diversity of bacterial communities.

Currently, Aqua Mina Company distributes equipment that provides nano-oxygen particles for shrimp ponds using the VENTEK Nano Bubble Oxygen. Farmers can find more information about the product here.
