To export the “Aquaculture round tank” to Japan - one of the most notoriously challenging markets in the world with stringent quality standards—we invested a considerable amount of time researching the needs of local consumers and assessing whether our product truly fits this market.
Over the past decade, our partner REX has researched and utilized the “Aquaculture round tank” and invested in the aquaculture sector to support eel farmers in Japan, enhancing efficiency and reducing investment costs.
Japanese eel (also known as Unagi - Anguilla Japonica) holds significant economic value, particularly in the culinary and aquaculture industries.
Following the successful signing ceremony, we were invited to visit one of our customers in Japan who has been using the “Aquaculture round tank.”
In Vietnam, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Mr. Co in Dong Thap to install a system of 11 Aquaculture round tanks. This system employs a recirculating filtration method to save costs, protect the environment, and meet export standards to Japan. Besides the factors that require strict control over input water quality, feed, weather, and stocking density, one of the most critical factors affecting the success of the farming operation is increasing oxygen concentration. Mr. Co shared that he invested in Rex oxygen generators to dissolve oxygen into the water, maintaining optimal oxygen levels for better fish absorption, leading to healthier and faster growth.
The partner team visited Mr. Co's farm, sampled grilled eel, and praised its taste. They promised to conduct another inspection before placing an order for export to Japan.
