AQUA MINA participated in the Conference Connecting Seafood Vietnam and Singapore Enterprises
Representatives from Singapore shared that the country currently relies heavily on imported food supplies. According to long-term plans and strategies, Singapore is striving to enhance its domestic food production capacity to ensure sustainable food security. However, by 2024, the self-sufficiency target will only reach about 10% of the nation's total food demand. This indicates that Singapore still has a long way to go to reduce its dependence on food imports from other countries.

Singapore's strategic plan aims for a 30% self-sufficiency in food by 2030. This includes a focus on sustainable and highly efficient aquaculture technology, but the limited land area poses significant challenges. Meanwhile, raising fish and shrimp in recirculating water systems and indoor aquaculture farms has proven to be a highly promising solution.
Singaporeans strictly adhere to the principle of water conservation, believing that every drop of water used must be utilized at least twice. This stems from the need to preserve water sources in the context of very limited natural water availability.

At the conference, AQUA MINA had the opportunity to showcase its image in the design and construction of floating round tanks, providing advanced and effective solutions for the aquaculture industry, particularly shrimp farming. Furthermore, we take pride in being a pioneer in exporting shrimp farming equipment to the international market, significantly contributing to the sustainable development of the industry through groundbreaking technologies. Our commitment to quality and innovation not only strengthens our position in Vietnam but also asserts AQUA MINA's stature on the international stage.

Representatives from both Vietnam and Singapore expressed strong hopes for establishing long-term and sustainable cooperative relationships. This collaboration not only benefits both nations but also creates new opportunities for promoting economic and bilateral trade development. With enormous potential in various fields, especially in agriculture and aquaculture, Vietnamese representatives believe that building a strategic partnership with Singapore will open new pathways, contributing to the sustainable development and shared prosperity of both parties.
