Vietstock Awards 2023 recognizes 20 enterprises in the livestock and aquaculture sectors
The organization has successfully co-hosted the International Exhibition for Livestock, Animal Feed, Aquaculture Technology in Vietnam (Vietstock) and the Aquaculture Vietnam exhibition for 11 years, in collaboration with the Department of Livestock Production, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. According to Rose Chitanuwat, ASEAN Project Director of Informa Markets Group, Vietstock Awards 2023 features a diverse range of award categories, including 14 awards for the livestock sector and 6 awards for the aquaculture sector. “It's an acknowledgment that no livestock or aquaculture enterprise wants to miss” - Rose Chitanuwat, ASEAN Project Director of Informa Markets Group, said.

According to Pham Kim Dang, Deputy Director of the Department of Livestock Production, livestock and aquaculture are two crucial sectors contributing to Vietnam's socio-economic development, ensuring food security, employment, and promoting sustainable development. Especially during the challenging period of the Covid-19 pandemic, the proactive contributions of the livestock and aquaculture sectors helped Vietnam successfully overcome the pandemic. Pham Kim Dang said that after the announcement, the establishment of criteria, the organizing committee received 50 registration dossiers for evaluation, including 35 dossiers from the livestock sector and 15 dossiers from the aquaculture sector.
The technical judging panel worked fairly and impartially to select 20 deserving businesses that have made significant contributions to the development of livestock and aquaculture, and have been recognized by the market. To achieve this, these enterprises invested, changed, innovated, and helped the livestock sector access world-class technologies, thus ensuring not only food security but also participating in export markets.

With the technology and capacity of the livestock and aquaculture sectors, we can produce products according to international standards, especially for demanding markets worldwide, Pham Kim Dang affirmed. The Vietstock Awards ceremony is an opportunity to honor organizations and businesses with significant contributions and innovations recognized by society and consumers. It is also a chance to encourage enterprises that have made efforts along with the guidance and efforts of management agencies, providing positive signals for recovery in the first nine months of 2023.
To ensure the sustainable development of the livestock and aquaculture sectors, Pham Kim Dang expects that in the near future, businesses, organizations, and associations will continue to contribute to the development of livestock and agriculture in the direction of sustainability as approved by the Government. He hopes that enterprises will continue to promote their brands to ensure the sustainable development of these sectors. Furthermore, he looks forward to more registration dossiers for future editions of the Vietstock Awards.
