2. Applications:
- It is a device used to measure the air flow rate and velocity of liquid in water treatment systems. When equipped with a flow control valve, the device can control the flow rate.
- A flow meter consists of three main parts: the measuring scale, float, and tube. Additionally, if flow control is required, a flow control valve must be installed.
- The air flow control valve is placed in the direction of liquid flow when in operation. The float of the flow meter is designed with a diameter nearly equal to the air intake pipe of the flow. The float is spherical in shape to fit inside the flow pipes and is raised from its initial position to pass through the gap between the float and the pipe wall as the liquid enters the pipe. The float will rise when the liquid flows through and will stop at a point where the flow is sufficient for the entire liquid volume to pass through.
- Measuring the flow rate of the liquid is affected by factors such as temperature and pressure of the liquid.
