In the midst of July, AQUA MINA continued the successful Farm Tours by warmly receiving three lovely guests from Brazil. These ladies shared their excitement, mentioning, In Brazil, we manage a shrimp farming estate spanning almost 4.5 hectares. During this trip, we are eager to firsthand experience shrimp farming using mobile round tanks, a widely adopted practice in today's aquaculture industry. Furthermore, we hope to explore modern technologies to assess their suitability for integration into our sophisticated closed-loop system.
Harvesting shrimp together with the locals and sharing shrimp farming technologies are activities that AQUA MINA and the participants of the Farm Tour have jointly undertaken.

Embrace July by Exploring a High-tech Shrimp Farm Tour

In mid-July, AQUA MINA had the pleasure of hosting three delightful guests from AQUATEC - Brazil, who visited shrimp farms in Can Gio district and Ba Ria - Vung Tau city during a 2-day journey. At each shrimp farm, we observed diverse and innovative farming methods, showcasing the unique approaches of each country. The farms demonstrated a mix of modern techniques with traditional practices, new methods replacing old ones, and inventive high-tech equipment aimed at reducing costs, minimizing risks, saving time, and enhancing product quality.

The journey commenced with Lien Giang shrimp farm - CPF Combine in Can Gio, where we were fortunate to witness the harvesting process. We observed Vietnamese farmers diligently weighing heavy shrimp nets for delivery to buyers and had insightful discussions with them about their journey in shrimp farming, operating large shrimp farms, and overcoming challenges.

The next destination featured a shrimp farm utilizing Nano Bubble technology, an effective oxygen supply solution. We gained valuable insights into the shrimp farming process combined with the Nano Bubble generation system. Our Brazilian friends actively interacted with the farm, asking numerous questions and receiving useful information to take back home.

On the second day, we experienced a shrimp farm with covered canvas-lined earthen ponds. The farm owner shared his creative and technical approaches to shrimp farming across nursery ponds, rearing ponds, settling ponds, and treatment ponds. He candidly shared his experiences on scientific shrimp feeding, waste treatment, and adding nutrients to achieve the best standards. Despite language barriers, the shrimp farm owner wholeheartedly conveyed his knowledge to foreign guests, fostering a strong spirit of learning.
