COMPOSITE TANK
Composite (also known as composite material or synthetic material) is a type of raw material synthesized from two main components with different physical and chemical properties. This type of material possesses superior characteristics and functions compared to its original components.
Composite materials
The reinforcing material used is fiberglass, which acts as the stress concentration point, has resistance to chemical and thermal environments, good heat transfer and dissipation, and is environmentally friendly.
The matrix material acts as the adhesive and provides a dispersed environment, transmitting stress to the reinforcing phase when subjected to external forces, protecting the material from damage in the environment, and has flexibility and electrical insulation.
Composite applications
Advantages of composite tanks
- Made from a matrix material of polyester resin and a reinforcing material of fiberglass, making them highly durable in different environments.
- Have good electrical and thermal insulation properties, and high resistance to corrosion.
- Can be custom-designed according to specific requirements.
- Color can be changed to meet various purposes and needs.
Applications of composite tanks
- Used for raising juvenile fish.
- Breeding whiteleg shrimp (vannamei), black tiger shrimp (monodon), and giant freshwater prawn.
- Raising eels.
- Applying probiotics
- Hatching artemia.
- Nursing shrimp seeds.
